Hello everyone! We're pleased to announce our annual Georgia Kendo Association Taikai and Shinsa for Memorial Day Weekend May 25-26. We are targeting early April for the applications to be released. In the meantime, here are the venue details so you can begin your planning: Venue (for both dates): 

Summerour Middle School 321 Price Pl NW, Norcross GA 30071 

 Saturday - May 25 

Shinsa (Promotion up to 3 Dan) 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM 

 Sunday - May 26 

Taikai (Tournament) 8:00 AM - 7:00 PM 

 Additional details: Bento will be available for pre-order for Sunday Souvenirs will be available for pre-order & at venue We will have a vendor on site Banquet TBD

AUSKF & SEUSKF Kodansha Seminar 5/4-5/5 ATL

Dear All Kodansha Senseis,


AUSKF and SEUSKF collaborated together to bring a Kodansha Seminar (5/4-5/5) in Atlanta, GA. We are inviting Yuji Onitsuka Sensei (7 dan Kyoshi) and Seiji Mamiya Sensei (7 dan Kyoshi) from AUSKF to conduct this seminar.

 

Seminar program include Mock Shinsa (for 5 dan/6 dan/7 dan candidates) and critique, series of group sessions (kihon & waza) and Godo Keiko to prepare you for future Kodansha Shinsa, not only for the examinees perspective but also from examiner’s perspective and insight.  

 

It will be a great opportunity for all Kodansha from all over the SEUSKF region as well as all over the AUSKF region to gather together.
